Tau accumulation in the pedunculopontine tegmentum as an early node in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy pathogenesis. We are continuing to develop the first model of PSP that incorporates both behavioral and pathological correlates of the disease. The ultimate goal is to use this model to identify drugs for reducing symptoms and to halt or reverse pathology.

**Due to the nature of the RF1 mechanism, there are two additional years of funding which remains to be awarded. The administrative paperwork is pending to convert the RF1 to a R01..
